Maintenance Mechanic
Job Responsibilities
- Set-up auxiliary equipment
- Maintain and repair injection molding presses & auxiliary equipment
- Conduct building maintenance
- Complete special production-related projects, such as building fixtures & making equipment modifications
- All other tasks as assigned to maintenance by supervisor
Prior Experience (Minimum of 5 years)
- Injection molding maintenance & repair
- Punch press & conveyor experience preferred
Skills
- Mechanical
- Electrical
- Hydraulics
- Reading comprehension
- Math
- Ability to read blueprints & schematics
- Leadership
- Familiarity with computers or computerized functions
Other Requirements
- Ability to travel for training (occasionally)
- Self-motivated
- Team player
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Willingness to work in other areas of production when needed
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Post high school technical training preferred
