Process/Set-up Technician
Job Responsibilities
- Remove molds from press
- Install molds in press
- Determine scales.
- Program press with press operation software
- Set-up work area around press
- Label and maintain order of all tools and equipment
- Prepare set-up documents and diagrams for new products
- Revise documents and diagrams when improvement processes dictate
- Operate tow motor
Prior Experience (Minimum 3 years)
- Plastic injection mold set-up
- Experience with Husky presses a plus
- Experience with hot runner molds a plus
Skills
- Reading comprehension
- Math
- Ability to read blueprints
- Color Differentiation
- Trouble shooting
- Processing
- Leadership
- Computer experience a plus
Other Requirements
- Ability to travel for training (occasionally)
- Self-motivated
- Team Player
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Willingness to work in other areas of production when needed
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
