The new, sleek styling of the 53mm .485” closure offers a self-cleaning feature to
prevent clogging and a deeper thumb-tab undercut for easier opening. The new
closure also features a patented hook design that provides superior flap
retention, ensuring product freshness while providing controlled access and
dispensing of dry products.
The 53mm SR Flapper closure’s sift-resistant feature provides an opportunity to
eliminate the liner and reduce closure system costs. Several features of the new
closure also add value to the manufacturing process. The one-piece closure

This SR Flapper fits all types of C.M.A. standard bottles with the 53mm .485”
bottle neck finish, and is available in a variety of colors and .300”/Pour
dispensing option. The new 53mm SR Flappers are ideal for dispensing spices
and seasonings. Other possible applications include grated cheese, dry food
