(Packaging Digest) After three years of development, the spice and flavorings company has unveiled new displays, packaging and rebranded products. Ukrop's Super Markets Inc., where Sauer completed restocking shelves yesterday, are the first in the country to display the new look.
Every manager in the company was involved in the process. The redesign was done in-house under the direction Joe Collerd, vice president of marketing, and his team of Tania Biswas and Erin Fraser.
The decades-old red and yellow color scheme has been replaced with maroon and light green. Round, plastic spice containers have given way to square, more easy-to-handle bottles. A new flip-top cap replaces one that users twisted to open holes for pouring or sprinkling.
